Absolutely perfect for a television that only has one HDMI input. I was able to hook up the DIRECTV and the fire stick and it worked flawlessly. They do have automatic switches out there, but the problem is that sometimes they will switch at the wrong time. Here you do have to press the button to go from one item to another, but it is most definitely the better way to go. Much more accurate results, and no picture reduction at all, or at least not to noticeably.

This device is so esay to use by just pushing buttom to siwitch between two different HDMI input source. The display still keep the same high quality, just like no extra switch exist. Both my son and me love this device since we share the same HDMI port to TV (He paly game and I wathc TV sports)

Seems to do the job, but for some reason when we have it plugged in, our soundbar that’s in a different input in the TV (not on either of the inputs from this product) the soundbar just doesn’t work. Not sure why, but it’s sort of a pain. Other than that it works pretty well switching between inputs
