Memory cards cannot be properly recognized
- Make sure the cards are inserted correctly. Monitor the LED status.
- Check if the memory card is broken, or try another card.
- Check if the pins of the card reader are bent accidentally.
- Try to insert cards firstly, and then connect the card reader to your device.
- Make sure SD and MS cards be inserted upside down (label side down).
Notice
- This card reader is not for XQD, CFexpress, CFast, SIM card, Nano, CAC, CF TypeⅡ
- Check if your device supports OTG.
The computer does not recognize the card reader
- Make sure the cards are inserted correctly.
- Unplug and plug the card reader again. Monitor the LED status.
- Try to reboot your computer.
- Connect the card reader to the computer directly with no intermediates (hub, adapter).
- Try with a different USB port of your device.
Low transfer speed
- CF/MS cards do not support the speed of USB 3.0. Only get the speed of USB 2.0. (because these cards are outdated.)
- Check the specs of your cards. Some cards are not of the high-speed feature.
- Functioning environment affects speed(full disc storage, OS system, too much software running at the same time, use of additional intermediates like hub or adapter, etc.)
- Make sure you plug the card reader into a USB 3.0 port.
Status of the LED light
- Red: powered
- Blue: cards recognized
- Purple: transferring files

Can't work with Android devices
- Make sure your android device supports OTG function. (*Basically, all android devices support OTG except for some outdated models.)
- Some android devices disable data transfer over USB-C ports by default. Please turn on USB Debugging Mode manually to allow your android device to exchange data over its USB-C port.
How to enable USB Debugging Mode on Android devices
- Click "Settings"-> "About device"-> Tap "Serial number" or "Builder number" seven times to make "Developer options" available in "Settings"
- Go back to "Setting"-> "Developer options"-> Turn on "USB Debugging"
Where to find my pictures
- Pictures in memory cards would not show in the "Gallery" or "Photos" apps.
- Pictures could be found in preinstalled file management apps on your device, such as “File Manager” on Android, “Files” on iPad
Smartphones/Tablets only read files in FAT32/exFAT format
- All Tablets/Phones in the market can only read FAT32/exFAT files.
- You may need to back up your data and format your memory cards into FAT32/exFAT to use the card reader with your tablet or phone.
